Do you get e-mails like I do that make you want to cry, pray and donate every dollar you have to a poor child or family? I receieved an e-mail last month that broke my heart so I decided to do a search. Come to find out, it was one of the many hoaxes put on by chain e-mails.

No one is really hurt by the chain e-mails other than our hearts that break.  Still, they are hoaxes. So, before you pass along another sad story - check it out first - and be the one that breaks the chain.

There’s been reports the past few days of a shortage of rice. Costco, Walmart and the big box stores seem to be running out if it. I don’t know who started this ‘rumor’ but I’m in a country that grows and exports rice to the United States and trust me, there is no rice shortage. There are acres and acres of rice growing, farmers farming them and workers working them every single day. Remember the coffee and sugar shortages? Those were hoaxes as well. If there’s a shortage of anything rice related in the US it’s probably a shortage of the truth.
